Amid continued speculation about Benjamin Netanyahu’s death, Candace Owens has claimed that the Israeli prime minister’s health is being “classified”. A conservative political commentator in the US says the authorities are under pressure to keep quiet.
Owens tweeted: “The United States Govt should handle this head on, but there is an order to stay mum. What’s going on? Haven’t they lied enough?”
The post garnered sharp reactions. A user asked: “Is Bibi Netanyahu really dead?” Another sarcastically wrote: “Probably any distraction from the Epstein files is welcome.”
“When officials choose silence over clarity, they leave the public to fill the gap with doubt, and after so many half-truths, people aren’t willing to just take their word,” another user wrote.
Another user commented: “A government that hides the status of its leader is not protecting stability. It is protecting control. The real question is no longer just Bibi’s health. It’s who is really running the show.”
“If Bibi is gone, then who runs the United States?” another user joked.
Another user wrote: “I read a semi-credible source that said Netanyahu and his wife were killed in a strike that also killed 5 of the main guys. It was from Turkey. But you never know.”
Meanwhile, several media reports claim that Benjamin Netanyahu was not present at the latest military council, calling it “highly unusual”.
Some even claimed that the Israeli prime minister is in a coma at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer.
Is Benjamin Netanyahu dead?
Despite viral rumors circulating online, Benjamin Netanyahu is alive, according to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. He was not killed or seriously injured, it added.
Photos are circulating on social networks, in which he is apparently mortally wounded. However, many fact checkers and analysts have confirmed that they are either falsified or completely false.
Netanyahu appeared in official correspondence. The Israeli Prime Minister delivered video speeches regarding the ongoing regional conflict.
One video posted on his official account sparked a new wave of conspiracy theories. Some social media users claimed that it was created by AI. They pointed to what they believed to be an extra finger on his hand.
However, fact-checkers found the video to be genuine. He claims the visual anomaly is likely caused by camera angles and video compression.
Netanyahu’s office had previously silenced the rumors outright. When asked by an Anadolu news agency correspondent about the claim that the prime minister had been assassinated, the authority replied curtly: “It’s fake news; the prime minister is fine.
