Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly convenes a small range of higher ministers to discuss the plans of the Israeli army to take control of other territories in Gaza, according to Reuters report.
The meeting comes on the heels of what the officials described as a tense three -hour exchange between Netanyahu and the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, during which the military leadership pushed back against the idea of escalating almost two years in Gaza.
The proposal considered would see that the Israeli defensive forces (IDF) will expand its reach to parts of the Gaza, which are not yet under full Israeli control. Critics warn that such expansion would endanger the hostages and soldiers, while further relocating the already traumatized civilian population of Gaza Gaza.

What does the Israeli public want?
Despite Netanyahu’s insistence on achieving a “overall victory” over Hamas, the public sentiment in Israel seems to be changing. Public opinion surveys now show that most Israelis prefer a negotiated agreement to ensure the release of the remaining hostages held in Gaza.
The hostage families accepted their appeal in public. Einav Zangauker, mother of one prisoner, published on X:
“Someone who talks about a complex agreement is not possible and the conquest of the lane and threatens hostages and soldiers.”
Forum of families hostages called for the Chief of Staff Zamir to oppose the expansion of military operations and call on the government to end an agreement to end the war and bring hostages of houses.

How many hostages are still in Gaza?
About 50 hostages remain in Gaza, while the Israeli authorities believe that only 20 are alive. Most of the previous editions have appeared through diplomatic negotiations. In July, however, interviews about the ceasefire and hostage collapsed, and fresh paintings of two hostages – exterminated and visibly fragile – last week caused international outrage.
What does Hamas require?
Hamas, who has ruled Gaza for nearly two decades, but now only controls parts of the territory, continues to insist that each agreement must include a permanent end of hostility.
Israel accuses a group of refusal to give up power and requires complete demilitarization of Gaza and complete release of the hostages as unexotibly assumptions.

Is the international community concerned?
Yes. The United Nations has described reports of Israel’s planning of a wider military takeover of Gaza as “deeply alarming”. With the gazette infrastructure in ruins and humanitarian aid, another conflict would deepen the catastrophic crisis.
Israeli military officials claim to control about 75% of Gaza, but organizations warn that 2 million civilians have been displaced several times since the beginning of the war. Hungry and illness are widespread and reports of the Ministry of Health of Gaza, which have died of hunger since the beginning of the conflict.
How do civilians deal with Earth?
For ordinary gazans, survival remains a single priority.
“Do you know what the relocation is?” Aya Mohammad, a thirty -year -old resident of Gaza, asked. “This means that your dignity is erased, you will become a homeless beggar, looking for food, water and medicine.”
Despite the repeated evacuation warning from the Israeli army, many like Rabeeh Jamal, 65, refused to leave.
“Not until they force us when the tanks enter,” she said. “Otherwise I will not run on the street to be killed later. We have nowhere to go.”
What are the political bets for Netanyahu?
Netanyahu is caught between growing international pressure to achieve a ceasefire and growing requirements of far -right coalition partners to complete work in Gaza.
Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, a hard line, openly expressed hope that the government would approve the full military takeover of the remaining parts of Gaza. Some voices in the Netanyahua coalition even defend themselves to restore Israeli settlements in the enclave – two decades after the complete withdrawal of Israel in 2005.
The Minister of Defense Israel explained that IDF will continue to be conducted by the Government Government directives “until all war goals have been achieved”.
Human Cost: What are the latest victim data?
Since the war broke out after the attack on Hamas 7 October 2023, in which 1200 Israelis were killed and 251 hostages, the Ministry of Health of Gaza said that more than 61,000 Palestinians died in Israeli military operations.
At least 20 other people were killed in the territory on Thursday alone.
Where is the conflict in Gaze-Israeli?
When Netanyahu convenes its inner circle and military control over the gaza back to the table, the future remains dangerously uncertain. For many Israelis, the original goal of the war was secured by hostages confused in the middle of wider territorial and political ambitions. For Palestinians, he is afraid of fear of further displacement and destruction more than ever.
