At a press conference after the match, Fleming seemed surprised to ask for notes, admitting that he didn’t even know that Ashwin had a YouTube channel.
The controversy appeared after a video with former analyst RCB Prasanna Agoram, known as Pdogg, broadcast on Ashwin’s channel.
During the episode, PDOGG questioned the CSK decision to play Afghanistan Spinner Noor Ahmad over veterans, such as Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin. The video was later removed, provoking curiosity and speculation between fans and the media.
When Fleming asked about criticism, Fleming replied with a calm release: “I have no idea. I didn’t even know my channel, so I don’t follow those things. That’s irrelevant.”
IPL: Fleming admits tabs after the third direct defeat CSK
The incident comes in a difficult time for CSK, who suffered his third consecutive loss in IPL 2025 after he went down to Delhi Capitals (DC) by 25 runs in Chepauk – their first defeat at DC at home in 15 years.
With this victory, DC culminated in the point table, while CSK finds himself under pressure on the middle table.
Despite the solid start of DC, thanks to the composed 77 KLALUL and some of the finishing firepower from Tristan Stubbs, CSK surprised in the persecution.
Star players like Devon Conway, Shivam Dube and Jadeja could not convert, while the late portrait of Mrs. Dhoni could not turn the tide.
When the questions are swirling around the selection and performance of the CSK team, Fleming’s rejected attitude signals the intention of the team to concentrate on the field – not the noise from it.
