What is the scheme of Indian railways?
The return scheme comes in front of Diwali, CHHhat, with another trip from October 13 to October 26, 2025 and a return journey from November 17 to December 1, 2025.
Scheme of return journey: How to book another ticket via IRCTC Rail Connect?
- Open the IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app and select “Train” on the home panel.
2. On the Reservation screen, click “Round Trip Festival”.
3. You will see details of the scheme, including the reference to the complete Terms and Conditions. Be sure to read all the information thoroughly. You must confirm your understanding to continue booking within this offer.
4. Start by searching for trains only for your next trip, with travel data between October 13, 2025 and 26 October 2025. This data concerns the departure of the train from the station of origin.

6 Note: Changes cannot be made after another ticket (PNR) is confirmed.
7. Click “Continue to pay” and complete the payment for the next trip.
8. Once the payment is successful, you will receive the PNR for the next trip and the Reserve Confirmation page
9. On this page you will find the possibility to “book a return path (20% discount)” or “return path to the book (discounted)”, along with another reference to the conditions of the scheme.

- On the Reservation Confirmation page (reservation details), click the “Make -up way to the book (20% discount)” or “The Book of the Return (discounted)” Continue or go to my reservation section and select another PNR path booked in step 1.
The page detail page opens, where you will find the “Make -up way to the book (20% discount)” “or” The Book of the Return (Dis -Locked) “together with reference to the conditions. Click this button to continue.

2. The scheme details are displayed together with the conditions. Read all the information carefully and confirm that you can continue to reserve in this scheme.
IMPORTANT: Source and target stations for the return path will be pre -selected by default and cannot be changed if you wish it.

4. After selecting a preferred class, a discounted fare is displayed that reflects a 20% discount on the basic fare for the return journey.
5. Choose a train and a class (except Flexi/Dynamic TRARE Trains) and continue only if the “CNF/Confirmed availability” is available in the specified period of the return journey.
6. Make sure the passenger data exactly corresponds to the data entered during the reservation of the next trip, as no changes should be used by the scheme. Verify the details of the journey and the discounted fare, and then click “Continue to pay”.
7. Once the payment is successful, the PNR will be generated for a return journey.
