Iranian Supreme Leader, 86 -year -old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, suddenly disappeared almost two weeks during the recent fighting with Israel. According to reports, he could not see from 11 June, just before Israel began to bomb Iran 13th June.
Khamenei finally proceeded to supervise 5th July at the ceremonial sadness in Tehran. He looked thin, but calm, sat quietly, while the crowds marked Ashura, a holy day for Muslims. His surprising return came when Iran faces huge challenges: nuclear places lie in the ruins, saying the US claims that the Iranian atomic program is “destroyed”. Iran has now stopped working with nuclear UN inspectors.
More problems are also cooked inside the Iranian government. Strong army groups fight for control as soon as Khamenei dies, some of which want less religious governments.
While the missiles hit Tehran and other cities, Khamenei disappeared completely. State television showed no videos about him, and officials gave confusing answers when they asked where it was. One helper just said the old Iranian, “We should all pray”. Safety experts believed that Khamenei was hiding in a secret underground bunker to avoid attempts at the assassination of Israel who threatened to focus directly on him.
During his disappearance, Khamenei sent only one message, shaken video released after a ceasefire. He claimed that Iran had “won” against Israel and called us attacks on nuclear places “unimportant”.
But his words did not correspond to reality: Israel killed more than 30 Iranian commanders and scientists, while American bombs destroyed key nuclear devices.
