US President Donald Trump said on Monday that the US did not allow any enrichment of uranium in any agreement with Iran under any agreement that the country will achieve.
Trump made a comment in the social media post on Monday evening without further processing. The US President has regularly indicated that he thinks the agreement can be close, and said that Iran can face military blows differently.
According to the Bloomberg report, Trump said last week that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the military strike on Iran would be “inappropriate” right now because “we are very close to the solution”. Trump has long committed that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.
“President Trump explained that Iran can never get a nuclear bomb,” said the White House’s press secretary Karoline Leitt in a statement before Trump’s post. “Special envoy (Steve) Witkoff sent the Iranian regime a detailed and acceptable proposal and is in their best interest to accept it. The administration does not comment on the media’s proposal.”
We allow us a low level of enrichment
Trump’s contribution comes after the media reports have said that Steve Witkoff’s, which is conducting the US negotiations, would allow Iran the latest proposal to maintain a low level of enrichment for civil use, such as nuclear medicine and commercial force. Only if they agree to close its heavily protected underground sites for a certain period of time, the report said.
In the last few weeks, Iran said that Iran would not be able to maintain uranium enrichment at any level, including Witkoff and Trump.
The proposal, announced by axios and confirmed by an American official, called for the creation of a regional consortium that would handle uranium enrichment for civilian use – the plan first studied more than ten years ago in negotiations led to the Iranian nuclear agreement in 2015.
Trump was sharply critical of this Agreement – which also made it possible to set the limits of enrichment of uranium, but allowed Iran to maintain such a capacity – and withdrew the US in 2017 during the first term, report.
Officials spoke with the AP on condition of anonymity to discuss private diplomatic negotiations.
Uranus supply in Iran
The International Atomic Energy Agency found that Iran had further increased its uranium supply enriched with almost the level of weapons since its update in February, according to the confidential report published by the UN Nuclear PSOG Nuclear PSOG on Saturday.
Iran claimed that his nuclear program is only for peaceful purposes, but Iranian officials are increasingly suggesting that Tehran can watch the atomic bomb.
Tehran said he wanted a clear assurance in any agreement to end sanctions. According to the AP US report, they have not yet been willing to specify how sanctions would be canceled, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baghaei said during a press conference in Tehran on Monday.
