Iran was looking for a “real and fair” agreement with the US on his nuclear program, head of the advisor of the highest leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Friday. The latest comments are determined by the stage of diplomatic clearing this weekend in Oman.
“Tehran is far from showing the show and looking for a real and fair agreement only in front of the cameras, important and implemented proposals are ready,” Khamenei Ali Shamkhani said on X.
According to AFP, Iran and the United States are ready to act on Saturday to achieve an agreement on the Tehran nuclear program.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and American special envoy Steve Witkoff are intended to interview in Oman, playing a mediation role in the Iranian nuclear problem.
Shamkhani confirmed that Araghchi is heading to Oman “with full authority for indirect negotiations with America.” He said that if Washington showed Goodwill, the way forward would be “smooth”.
Iran said that on April 9, a new nuclear agreement may be agreed that the US, provided that Teheránský long -term opponent manifests sufficient good will in the upcoming interviews because Israel warned against military action if he manifests himself.
Trump warns
Last month, US President Donald Trump wrote to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who urged the negotiations but warned of a possible military action if Iran refuses.
Before the conversations on Saturday, Trump repeated that the military action was “perhaps” maybe if they failed.
A warning against a military action against Iran, if the conversations failed, Trump said that an ally of Israel would be “apparently very involved, will be a leader.”
Iran replied by saying that Tehran could exclude UN nuclear inspectors. This caused further US warning that it is an “escalation”.
“It is also possible to consider the transfer of enriched materials to secure places,” added Khamenei Shamkhani advisor about Iranian uranium enrichment activities.
Iran consistently refused to try to get nuclear weapons.
“If the US site does not cause irrelevant problems and requirements and reserves threats and intimidation, there is a good opportunity to reach an agreement,” said Majt-Rajt-Rajt-Rajt-Rajt.
On Friday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said that Iran “gives diplomacy a real chance in good faith and full of vigilance”.
“America should appreciate this decision that has been made despite their hostile rhetoric,” he said.
Iran-US speaks directly or indirect?
Trump first announced interviews by Iran and the US during the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, AFP reported. He said that the conversations would be of high levels and “direct”, but Iran insisted that they would be “indirect”.
“The interviews will be indirectly performed through the exchange of texts,” said the Iranian news agency Fars without named the source.
The White House spokesman Karoline Leavtt took on Friday that the conversations would be direct, “and I want to clarify it”.
She told journalists in Washington: “The president believes in diplomacy, direct conversations, speaks directly in the same room.”
Nuclear Agreement from 2015
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, consultations were held at the level of experts between Russia, China and Iran on nuclear issues, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
In recent months, Iran has also spoken to three European parties – Britain, France and Germany – during the 2015 nuclear agreement. The 2015 ACCORD recorded Iran sanctions in exchange for the limits of its nuclear program.
On Friday, the European Union warned that there was no “alternative to diplomacy” in the Iranian nuclear problem.
US sanctions for Iran
On Thursday, the US deposited other sanctions on Iran and focused on its oil network and nuclear program. The head of the Iranian nuclear agency Mohammad Eslami downplayed their impact.
“They put maximum pressure with different sanctions, but could not prevent the Earth from progressing,” AFP quoted it.
“They still think they can stop this nation and country with threats and intimidation, psychological operations or stupid actions,” Eslami said.
