
US Iran War LIVE Updates: US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that the war in Iran is “very close” to the end. The US president’s announcement came even as world leaders crisscrossed the globe as the US-Iran ceasefire is just a week away.
The U.S. Treasury Department goes on to say that “the short-term authorization to sell Iranian oil already stranded at sea will expire in a few days and will not be renewed,” in a post on X.
The administration authorized the delivery and sale of Iranian oil already in transit before March 20 and will continue until April 19.

US Vice President JD Vance said Washington wants to bring Iran back into the global economy as part of what he called the “Trump Grand Deal” at the Turning Point Action event in Georgia on Tuesday.
Vance conceded that the gap between the two sides could not be closed overnight, but said both Washington and Tehran were willing to pursue a deal. “The American delegation was instructed by President Donald Trump to act in good faith,” he added.
