The Iranian Embassy in India killed Donald Trump’s administration over his decision to sanction six Indian companies for trading in Iran and described it as “coercive” and “discriminatory” action “dictate his will to independent countries”.
Iran said the US “arms” the economy to stop the growth of nations such as India and Iran,.
“The United States continues the economy weapon and uses #sanctions as a tool to dictate their will on independent countries such as Iran and India, and prevents their growth and development,” said the Iranian embassy in position X.
Iran, who detonated the “stronger global south”, said that resistance of such policies is a stall for developing powers.
“These coercive discriminatory actions violate the principles of international law and national sovereignty, which represents a modern form of economic imperialism. The resistance to such policies is a stall for the stronger newly emerging not Western multilateral world order and stronger global south,” she said.
Trump’s sanctions 6 Indian companies in Iran
Hours after the new Delhi with 25 % import tariffs for all goods, Trump’s administration approved six Indian companies for their “significant” sales and purchases of petrochemical products of Iranian origin.
“The Iranian regime continues to support the Middle East conflict to finance its destabilization activities. Today, the United States is taking measures to stop the flow of income used to support terrorism abroad as well as to oppress their own people,” the US Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
Focusing on Iranian petrochemical trade has determined the US 13 entities across various jurisdictions that have been involved in the translation, sale and purchase of petrochemicals of Iranian origin.
“As President Trump said, every country or a person who decides to buy Iranian oil or petrochemicals is at risk of US sanctions and will not be allowed to do business with the United States,” he said.
Indian companies that have been sanctioned include – Kanchan Polymers, Alchemical Solutions, Ramnikla with Gosalia and Society, Jupiter Dye Chemical, Global Industrial Chemicals and Persistent Petroch.
Companies are designed to consciously involve a significant transaction for the purchase, acquisition, sale, transport or marketing of petrochemical products from Iran.
