The US and Israel launched military strikes against Iran on February 28, killing Iran’s then Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Following the military offensive, Iran carried out a wave of attacks targeting mainly Israel and US military bases in several Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
In recent days, the conflict has significantly expanded with attacks and counterattacks by both sides.
India called for a resolution to the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
