Siddharth Kaushal, Head of the Indian Police Service (IPS), announced his voluntary resignation from the services and stressed that the decision stems purely for personal reasons after a deep introspection.
In a press release published on Wednesday, Mr. Kaushal explained that his resignation was not caused by external pressure or in any form of alleged harassment, which rejected the reports that orbited speculate otherwise. He said, “Such claims are completely unfounded and misleading,” he stressed that the step was taken independently and linked to his long -term goals and family wishes.
When Mr. Kaushal gave up his career, he described his term of office in the Indian police service as a “fulfilling and enriching way”. He expressed a special attachment to Andr Pradesh, where he intensively served: “I have always considered this situation my home.”
