
IPL 2025 match between the capital cities Pandjab and Delhi in Dharamshala on Thursday 8th May were eliminated Due to the attack from Pakistan in different parts of India. The match was stopped after 10.1 breaks, while PBKS talked at 122 for 1 on Thursday. One of the skylights left and many thought it was a technical failure.
However, two more light towers were turned off and the crowd was asked to leave the stadium. IPL confirmed on its official X account that the match was abandoned in Dharamshale.
Players, matches and spectators were expired from the stadium after being called.
A special train for players
The Indian cricket council (BCCI) organized a special train that brought players and officials of the match from Dharamsaly to Delhi. The nearest railway station is UNA and two sets of players, support workers and matches are likely to enter the train from here.

Secretary of BCCI Devyit Saikia, spoke with India today, explained the decision to recall the match.
“The situation is not stable at the moment, and therefore we have canceled today’s match – not only in Dharamsale, but also because of the escalation of tension from the neighboring country.
“The safety of players, spectators and support workers is our highest priority. We will do everything in the best interest of the nations.
“We follow the situation carefully and make another decision,” he said.
The decision comes after Pakistan attacked several places in Jammu, including the airport. The missiles were burned on Thursday on Jammu from the entire international border. One of the drones hit Jammu Airport, which caused fighter aircraft to climb in response. India activated its air defense systems that were able to successfully capture incoming missiles.
The Indian air defense system shot down the Pakistani plane F-16 after the start of attacks on more places in Jammu and Pandjab. Meanwhile, drone attacks were also thwarted in J & KS Udhampur and Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer and Akhnoor was shot down a drone.
Two kamikaze drones were also shot down in Poonch.
