
A 76-year-old British broadcast engineer working with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches was found dead in his hotel room in south Mumbai, police said on Tuesday.According to a report by news agency PTI, the deceased, identified as Jan William Langford, was found unconscious in his room on Monday morning. Hotel staff immediately rushed him to a Mumbai hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival, the official confirmed.
