The win moved RR up one place in the table to third with 12 points from nine games, marking their sixth win of the season.Meanwhile, PBKS suffered their first defeat of the campaign after eight matches, but they remain at the top of the points table with 13 points. Despite losing the high-scoring encounter, Punjab maintain a strong Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.043, keeping them comfortably ahead.
