KL Rahul (Pic credit: IPL) NEW DELHI: Delhi Capitals opener KL Rahul scored his third half-century of the IPL 2026 season to jump to the top of the Orange Cap standings. His 75 against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Friday took him to 433 runs this season, eight more than Sunrisers Hyderabad opener Abhishek Sharma.Rahul was outside the top five before the Jaipur match, but a 40-ball knock helped him leapfrog a host of runners like Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek to claim the Orange Cap.

Gill has dropped out of the top five and is now sixth with 373 runs from eight matches.
