As they reach the halfway stage of the IPL without a win, Sunday’s game against Rajasthan Royals at the Eden may provide them with an opportunity to embark on a journey of redemption.Perhaps they are asking too much, though with a single point in the bag they have a herculean task ahead of them. Punters won’t bet on them winning all eight remaining games, especially with their low morale and lack of a goal. There seem to be many faults in the way KKR go about their task and it stops with skipper Ajinkya Rahane.

However, the all-rounder failed against the Titans despite bowling two overs against LSG and CSK.Sunday’s game is about teams on two ends of the spectrum. Even as KKR languished at the bottom, Royals were running away with all the glory until they hit a snag against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last game.Incidentally, while KKR were on the road for a week, RR had a good three days of training here.
