India Pacer Jasprit Bumrah was excluded from the first home game of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 in Mumbai against the defense of the Kalkata Knight Riders champions at the WankHede stadium in Mumbai. Star Pacer has to fully recover from the back injury, which has been moved from a competing cricket since January this year.
The Mumbay Indians, who had a slow start of their campaign, are currently on the bottom of the IPL 2025 after they lost the first two matches. But there is still no hint of their bowling hills Bumrah, which soon joined the team.

Bumhrah’s last competitive match was a fifth test against Australia on a cricket playground in Sydney in January 2025, where he bowed only in the first shifts. A 31 -year -old man underwent rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengalur, where he continued his bowling in networks. A viral video showing that Bumrah practicing in NETS has recently caused speculation about its return, although the Indians from Bombai or BCCI have not provided any official confirmation.

His absence was the main failure for the Indians in Mumbai who lost their first two matches-Pristay of Chennai Super Kings 23 March and against Gujarat Titans by 36 Runs on March 29. While he lacks today’s match, they suggest that Bumrah could return to action in mid -April.
Bumrah debuted IPL with the Indians in Mumbai 4. April 2013 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium, where he took three goals for 32 runs in four overs. Over the past 12 years, Ahmedabad-out-of-Pacer 133 IPL has played matches, claimed 165 goals and remains one of only four pitching in IPL history to take two five goals.
