
Virat Kohli is on the verge of breaking the main record because the Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) is preparing to face the Pandjab Kings (PBKS) in qualifying 1 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Kohli is only 31 runs from becoming the highest running shooter against PBK in the history of IPL. The current record is held by David Warner, who accumulated 1134 runs in 26 matches with an impressive average of 49.30, of which 13 half centuries. Kohli recorded 1104 runs out of 34 games on average 36.80.
Remarkably, Kohli and Warner are the only players who have exceeded 1000 hands against Kings in Pandjab in IPL.

David Warner – 11345 runs out of 26 matches
Kohli – 1104 runs out of 34 matches

RCB Look for Final in IPL 2025
Kohli was in a sensational form for RCB throughout the tournament and is currently fifth on the list of the highest scores of the highest score in IPL 2025. In 13 matches, 602 runs on average 60.20 and at a speed of 147.91, with the highest score 73.
RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, finished second on the table after the league phase, provided 19 points and a clean running speed of +0.301, with nine wins out of 14 matches. The PBKS exceeded the table with the same number of points, but excellent speed of clean running +0.372.
The RCB had previously reached the IPL finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016, but it always ended in a loss. This year they will try to finally break Jinx and get their first title.
