
Rajasthan Royals received massive support before the fourth game in the Premier League, Indian League against Pandjab Kings. The National Cricket Academy was declared the captain of Sanju Samson.
Samson played as a player of impact in the first three matches of the season. Rajasthan had a heavy start of the season without their regular leader in the field when they hit Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in a back-to-back game. In the absence of Samson, young Riyan Parag led this season.

Samson underwent surgery on the right index finger after being hit by a former RR teammate and Jofra Archer’s English stimulation during the T20i Indian series against England in February. In the first three games of the season he played as a specialized dough.
Samson scored 66, 13 and 20 in his first three games of the tournament.
