Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) received early support with the return of the key overseas players Romario Shepherd and Liam Livingstone for the overcrowded last leg IPL 2025.
Shepherd had a limited time with the bat this season, but his lonely appearance left an indelible brand. All -Rounder West Indies broke the explosive 53 out of only 14 supplies against Chennai Super Kings – the fastest fifty RCB player in IPL history. His Blitzkrieg included 4 boundaries and 6 towering six, he immediately turned him into a cult hero among RCB fans.
However, the availability of the shepherd for the rest of the tournament remains uncertain. He was appointed in the West India team for the upcoming ODI series against England from May 29 – the same day will begin Play -OPP IPL. Cricket West Indies has to officially confirm whether players are bound to England like Shepherd, Russell and Narine allowed to complete their iPL obligations before departure home.
England Liam Livingstone also teamed up with the RCB group. The English versatile, known for its Middle Order, and a part -time rotation, was omitted from English white balls for the Western India series, which made it accessible to the business end of the RCB campaign.
Young England Batter Jacob Bethell, which has already re -connected to the RCB team, will be available for two more matches – against KKR and Sunrisers Hyderabad – and then fly back to England before the third accessories against Lucknow Super Giants. Bethell, who is in the English plans of ODI, will miss play -off if RCB Advance.
Several of their overseas stars without international duties are important for RCBs until the final of IPL 3. The English opener Phil Salt and the Australian finisher Tim David, along with Livingstone, are available for the rest of the tournament.
However, there is some uncertainty about the fast pitching Josh Hazlewood and Lungi Ngidi, which are expected to join their relevant national teams before the June World Championship finals. If they are not available for the knockout phase, it may be asked to get off.
RCBs are well located to ensure the Playoffs with 16 points out of 11 games in the IPL table 2025 points. The competition of the first four places remains intense with Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Pandjab Kings, Delhi Capitals and LSG still rivalry.
