
Rajat Patidar has accumulated praise over the Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) overplaying the 11-run victory against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 42 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Stadium M Chinnaswamy in Bengalur.
Defense 205, RR did a brilliant beginning and in the first 10 overs scored 113 runs, although they lost three goals. But with 93 runs needed from 60 balls, Royals Koktal and lagging behind. Patidar said that RCB pitch-offs showed huge courage in the second half of RR’s Run-Honhase with his back against the wall.
“It was so much needed victory. Today the goal was different, as we expected. All the credit goes to the pitch, as they returned after 10th place. The way they showed courage was huge,” Patidar said in the ceremony after the match.

“He would feel it would be tight”
Patidar admitted that the RCB was under a little pressure when RR dough shot on all cylinders. He also said that the selection of the goal at regular intervals helped RCB control of opposition doughs.
“I think RR initially detonated beautifully, credit is to them. At some point we felt it would be a tight match, and we were just looking for goals. Only if you get goals, you can stop running. Always back your instincts first, but we have a group of great leaders. “Patidar added.
With their victory, RCB climbed third in the table with 12 points and a net speed of +0.482. In the ongoing IPL edition, they also jumped their three losses.
The calls will be against Delhi Capitals Axar Patel (DC) on Sunday, April 27 at the ARUN Jaitley stadium in Nový Delhi.
