IPL 2025: Rajasthan Rope in South Africa Pacer to replace the wounded Sandeep Sharma

Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the South African fast pitch Nandre Burger rode as a replacement for Sandeep Sharma for the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025. He joined the champions in 2008 for RS 3.5 Crore.

Sandeep injured his finger and tried to stop a powerful ride From SHUBMAN GILL from his own bowling during the home match RR against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Monday 28th April at the stadium Sawai Mansingh in Jaipur.

The 31 -year -old Pacer has completed the last eight vans of his spell before scanning confirmed the fracture.

In 10 matches, Sandeep picked up nine goals at an economic rate of 9.89. His best characters 4-0-21-2 came against the Kings (PBKS) 5th April at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh international cricket stadium in Mullanpur.

Burger returns to Royals

Burger was part of the Royals in IPL 2024, where he picked up seven goals out of six matches at an economic rate of 8.52. Overall, the Speedster left the arm was 77 goals out of 69 matches at an economic rate of 7.73.

Burger was previously expelled from SA20 2025 due to injury, then Beuran Hendricks replaced him in Joburg Super Kings. He also played three tests, five ODI and two T20i.

Burger did not play any form of cricket from the ODI series against Afghanistan in Sharjah in September 2024.

Royals are already in play -off. RR is currently disappearing ninth in a table with six points and a net speed of -0.718.

On Monday, May 12 at the Ma Chidambarama stadium, the next time they will be against Mrs. Dhoni-CHENNAI Super Kings (CSK).

The Super Kings were also removed from the tournament because they were still fighting at the bottom.
