The parents of Mrs. Dhoni, Mr. Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi, were present at the Ma Chidambarama in Chennai on Saturday 5th April to follow the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the CHENNAI Super Kings (CSK) (DC) capitalization. They were accompanied by their grandchildren when they cheered to Dhoni of the stalls.
It was previously reported that Dhoni could lead a super king because of the uncertainty around Ruturai Gaikwad. Gaikwad suffered injuries to the elbows during the CSK match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Barsapar stadium in Guwahati. Gaikwad, however, recovered in time and led CSK in their match against the capital cities, which were captains Axar Patel.
MS Dhoni, CSK Fight
CSK launched its campaign with a strong victory and March 23 beat Mumbai Indians (Mi) with four goals at the Ma Chidambarama stadium. However suffered a heavy 50-running defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their next game. Dhoni contributed 30 runs out of 16 balls in this match, but faced criticism for launching in No. 9.

In the game against Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni scored 16 runs out of 11 balls, including one four and one six before Sanepp Sharma was rejected in the CSK’s Chase in the final. Dhoni, known as the winner of the CSK match, has fought in recent years as a finisher.
In 18 CSK matches he won from IPL 2023, Dhoni scored only three runs. On the other hand, in 14 losses he accumulated 166 runs on average 8 3, with the highest score of 37 not against the capitals in Visakhapatnam.
During 68 matches, 43 -year -old Dhoni scored 1,033 runs on average 49.19 and strike 133.29, with four fifties and the highest score of 70.
