Sharma spent most of the meeting with his knee and interviewed Captain Hardik Pandya and teammates Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and medical staff.

Rohit has already missed one game for me this season IPL, against Lucknow Super Giants 4. April. Then Pandya revealed that Rohit was hit on his knee before the match and prevented the problem to get to the field. Coach Mahela Jayawardene provided more information.
“RO got a hit on the knee just in the (iliotibial) band, tried to bat yesterday and couldn’t bring any weight,” Jayawardene said at a press conference.
“He came again and he did a fitness test to try it, and it was discomfort for him to bring weight to it, so he felt it wasn’t 100% playing this game for him. That’s why we thought we would give him a few days to try to get through it.
Despite playing 7th April against the Royal Challengers Bengalur, where he scored 17 runs, it is safe to say that Rohit did not completely recover.
