Gujarat Titans Wicketkeeper-Batter Jos Buttler says he feels much lighter after giving up the English white ball. Buttler decided to withdraw as the captain of the England-White-Ball team During the masters trophy after the team’s campaign ended with ending at the bottom of the table.
Buttler’s position was under control of the bad performances of England in the ODI and T20i World Cups in 2023 and 2024, and the goalie felt it was the right time to go on. Buttler, who spoke before the GT game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, said he could consider things if the results fail.

The 34 -year -old man said that the surrender of the captain gave him much more space in his mind and feels relaxed.
“I certainly feel much lighter. It is obvious that being a captain when you don’t get the results that they can weigh on you and spend a lot of time and energy about it and try to fix it,” Buttler said on Friday an exclusive interview.
“Being without it certainly gave me much more space in my own mind and I feel much more relaxed and I can just focus on my own game,” he said.
“Comfortable launching on No. 3”
Buttler commented on his new role in GT on No. 3, after he has been a fertile opener for RR in the last few seasons. A 34 -year -old man has seen two years in three matches and said he was comfortable in a new place he recently made for England in the shortest format of the game.
“I am really happy with the launching on No. 3. It’s something I did recently for England, so just by using all my experience as an opener, as a middle -class player, just to play, as I see a new role and I will be part of what is really a fantastic team,” Buttler said.
Buttler would come well against RCB from place 3 when he scored an undefeated 73 of only 39 balls.
