Gujarat Titans suffered a significant blow before the playoffs of IPL 2025, while Jos Buttler returned to England for a series of limited against Western India. The franchise decision to invest RS 15.75 crore in the veteran goal was cleverly because Buttler played a key role in helping GT to secure the bed.
His departure, however, is now the main challenge for the Titans, who must win three consecutive matches to win the title. Buttler’s absence leaves considerable emptiness in the line -up – this season was 20.98 % of the total GT runs.

The duo accumulated 909 runs in 14 games in IPL 2025 as a couple, a diameter of 69.92, including stands from three centuries and the unsurpassed 205-run partnership against Delhi Capitals at the ARUN Jaitley stadium.
