Indian naval staff and 44 employees of nine friendly sailors and coastal guards from Asia and Africa aboard the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean Sagar (iOS Sagar) returned to Kochi on Thursday evening after the monthly voyage to the southwestern nations in the Indian Ocean and Africa.
After running a vessel together with their Indian counterparts, they and the Indian Navy staff called in the Indian Ocean (Ior) over the last month. The crew, which came from Comoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Mosambique, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Tanzania, together served the ship next to the Indian Navy crew, which meant “One One One Mission”, “she said.
Foreign staff attended training at southern naval command before iOS Sagar sailed, among other things, between the growing influence of China in the region, a renewed threat of piracy and the ongoing threat of Houth Rebels to global transport.

The vessel was marked by the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh of Karwar 5. April. During the deployment, the ship called Dar-Es-Salaam, Nacala, Port Louis, Port Victoria and Man. The key peaks of the mission included joint naval exercises, professional and cultural exchanges and common supervision of the key nations Ior – Tanzania, Mozambik, Mauritius and Seychelles.
The ship that strengthened regional maritime cooperation between India and African nations was attended by Aikeyme 2025, along with the Navy Chennai and INS Kesari, an exercise that hosted India and Tanzania from 13 to 18 April. She provided the opportunity for the Los Sagar crew to participate in the Harbor phase and also interact with the Harbor phase. In Mosambique, cooperation and community engagement took place that supported surgical synergy and interoperability with the Mozambic Navy.
The iOS Sagar crew interact with the police forces Mauritius and also carried out coordinated patrols with coastline Mauritius. Visit to Port Victoria, Seychels, was marked with cross -deck visits, training training, common yoga sessions and naval involvement in the Seychelles defensive forces. Before entering Kochi, the ship was in the Maldives in the Maldives, the edition said, the ship said.
