
The industry department will soon organize investors in Kozhikode City to support the commercial potential of the advanced technology park in Ramanattukara and the Beypore Maritime Park, both under the control of Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA).
The proposal was submitted at a state meeting, which was recently attended by the Minister of Industry P. Rajeeve and the Minister of Public Work by PA Mohammed Riyas in Thiruvananthapurama. On the basis of a decision taken at the meeting, Kinfra will be appointed as a node agency.
Officials stated that investors’ meeting would emphasize the value of different first -class properties and facilities under Kinfra in a manner designed to attract new investments. They added that the government gave a proposal on the basis of proposals for leading industrialists who expressed their willingness to cooperate with the initiative.
Ministers’ meeting also discussed problems with the development of the Chervavur Steel Development Complex, Nalam Industrial Estate and Hi-Tech Bamboo Flooring Factory to explore viable solutions. Representatives of various trade unions and industrialists were present to consider feasible action plans.
