The lawyer said in his statement that in January this year he encountered a video on YouTube offering an investment opportunity in “Donald Trump Hotel Rentals”.
When he clicked the link, the mobile app was directed to download.

According to the police, the victim followed the instructions and paid £ £1 500 to activate his account. He promised him 3 % return on his investment.
Initially he received revenues and made profits from his investment.
He trusted this system, invested more money when fraudsters asked and hoped to double their income.
In total stored £5,93,240 for various bank accounts, UPI ID and digital wallets between January 25 and April 4.
However, it ceased to accept revenues and was unable to restore the invested amount.
According to the IT law, the case was registered and Section 318 (4) (cheating) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the police said.
During the investigation it was found that the complainant was deceived by a “false” reference.
As a result £1.5 Lakh in the bank account to which the money was transferred was frozen, the policeman said.
The police urged the public to stay on the alert and avoid clicking on suspicious links.
