Operation of inland House Houses in the Kozhikode district will be subjected to strict monitoring according to the state -level directive issued by the Naval Council (KMB) to enforce the safety and registration registrations. This step comes as a result of internal reports emphasizing extensive violations of security standards in this industry.
Instructions have been issued to local coercive plates to entertain mechanized ships used for tourism that work without adherence to legal formalities. The port officer and local police will be responsible for negotiations against such illegal services.
The sources of the Ministry of Tourism have stated that details of several ships suspected of using false registration numbers – or using registration numbers belonging to other vessels – are currently under control across different parts of the state. They added that many tourists do not know about such incorrect practices.
KMB officials said boat operators will have time until July 15 to complete the compulsory registration and paperwork through the inland ship Keral. They also supplied abuse of fishing boats for tourism purposes.
Police sources said that the support of the Ministry of Tourism would be sought to monitor the entry of illegal operators into the sector. They said that all boat owners will be obliged to clearly display the vessel registration data and a load capacity for passenger awareness. In the Kozhikode district, registration data on houseboards operating in the Chaliyar, Akalappuzha and Kapuzha rivers will be examined in the first phase of the drive, they said.
