Shah shared on social media.“Let’s move?” The campaign encourages everyone to invite “+1” to participate in activities such as walking, running, dancing or skipping, and sharing their experience on social media using @olympics #letsmove.“The cricket joined the Olympic movement – a historical jump for our beloved sport! This #Olympicday, we will celebrate the power of sports to join and inspire. We will ask you to choose your +1 through the #letsmove campaign – whether we are walking together. Better, let’s move together in India!The cricket will return to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028, after its only previous performance at the Paris Games in 1900. The sport was included after the IOC meeting in Mumbai in October 2023.The cricket joins other new sports on LA28, including baseball/softball, flagship, lacrosse and squash.

The cricket at the La Olympics will present six teams in men and women competitions. The T20 was introduced at other more sports events, including Asian games in 2010, 2014 and 2023 for men and women competitions, and in Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games for women’s competition.
