Interior Minister G. Parameshware said on Sunday that the Congress Government was determined to make an internal reservation for the planned caste community in the state and referred to those who threatened to protest protest looking for its implementation.
“We declared a statement about the internal reservation in Chitradurg and we also committed to this in our manifesto. Whatever we have to do anything should be done according to the procedure and instructions issued by the Supreme Court.
His statement comes in the light of the Dalit groups on the left (Madigas) threatening the protest from 11 August. Dalit left the leader from the BJP, including Govind Karjol and A. Narayanaswamy, and also made such a threat.
The Minister said the Commission, headed by Judge HN Nagamohan Das, will submit his report to the government of 4 August. He will discuss in the state cabinet and take steps to perform recommendations. The report of the AJ Sadashiva Commission was not accepted by the BJP government because of data problems.
At the meeting of ministers from the planned caste, which was summoned, Dr. Parameshware that it was decided to have a common voice for an internal reservation. “If there are any problems with communities, it was decided to talk to them.”
