Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K. Vijayanand has directed power distribution companies (DISCOMs) to intensify implementation of rooftop solar installations across the state and said that under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the government is introducing the Utility Led Aggregation (ULA) model to provide rooftop solar systems to SC and ST electricity consumers.
In a video conference, Mr. Vijayanand said the government is moving towards clean energy to reduce the burden of electricity charges.
