Former Uppal MLA and senior BJP leader NVSS Prabhakar on Friday led a rally in Ramanthapur demanding the government and GHMC to allow the construction of statues of cultural, patriotic and spiritual heroes who fought the Nizam rule and the Razakars’ atrocities – for the benefit of the next generation. The participants took part in the rally with portraits of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud, Sant Sevalal, PV Narasimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and others, a press release said.
