
Innovation, creativity and digital fluency between youth were key factors for promoting environmental and climatic events that could ensure sustainability and prepare a way for “green growth”, said the conference on the “sustainability of youth” here on Monday (July 21, 2025). The event was part of the campaign for the involvement of youth in an action to control climate change.
Experts described the youth not only as the leader of tomorrow, but as “today’s providers of the solution”, and at the same time call for them to accept the shared vision of the green economy. The ecologically sustainable economy could develop with the right management of resources, cooperation and increase.
The winner of the Magsaysay Award Rajendra Singh said that climate urgency challenges have brought opportunities to learn the use of indigenous knowledge systems. “Communities equipped with local wisdom can save water and revive dry and dead rivers,” Singh said.
He emphasized the role of Taruna Bharat Sangha, who was founded by it, in the revival of the Arvari River in the Alwar district with the construction of small dams, Mr. Singh said that the adoption of cautious agricultural practices would cause the ecosystem to be healthy and alleviate the impact of climate change.
Haridev Joshi University of Journalism said the vice -chairman of Sudhi Rajiv that individual and collective actions of youth could help improve environmental results, although educational institutions could act as “living laboratories” for sustainability.
Rajasthan’s business and industrial president of KLAIN said that industrial industries must not only be growth engines, but should become champions of green innovation. “The sectors such as renewable energy, electric vehicles, sustainable agriculture and circular economy will be in the forefront of the Indian transition to the green economy in the next ten years,” he said.
Experts deal with relations about youth synergy, digital narration and use of communication that youth energy and experience and sources of industry should be connected to create a green, inclusive and durable economy.
In order to bridge the gap between the academy and the climate measures, the steps proposed speakers included the joint creation of the curriculum, the encouragement of apprenticeship and exposure in the field, supporting research and development cooperation, developing centers of Excellence and motivating beginning and innovation laboratories.
The campaign for the climate event was launched under the auspices of Lok Samvad Sansthan (LSS) based in Jaipur and Karma based on Nový Delhi. Minister of LSS Kalyan Singh Kothari said that youth is encouraged to create content to sensitize people about the challenges of environmental degradation and support sustainable life.
