
The five-day programme, Innovathon 2K26, at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) concluded on Monday.
During the grand finale, a total of 24 teams from eight departments presented their innovative projects. The judges, John Rose from Xavier Institute of Engineering and Technology and Charu Sharma, Country Director, Star Scholar Network, recognized the students for their creativity, technical knowledge and innovative ideas that contribute to solving real-world problems.
The first prize was awarded to the eco smart IoT project of the Department of Information Technology (IT), the second prize was awarded to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) for the project to detect and prevent the movement of elephants. The third prize was awarded to the Ministry of Civil Affairs for the earthquake-resistant building project.
