In the main step towards strengthening science education in rural India, the Institute for Research in Education has associated with the State Bank Foundation India (SBI) and SBI Funds Management Private Limited to expand its flagship Kriya to 12 government schools in the Raichur district.
The cooperation officially launched on the government model of the elementary school at Bazaar, Raichur, June 17, is part of SBIF’s Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) called Reimagining Science Education.
Among the administrator of the Vallish Herur, Raichur, Raichur, Eranna Kosagi, CEO of the SBI Sanjay Prakash and Prayoga, which managed the Vallish Herur, along with teachers and educational officers at the level of blocks and clusters.
Sanjay Prakash said that partnership is an important step to bridge the educational gap in rural India. “By providing quality scientific education and necessary sources, we allow students to experience science in a practical and engaging way. We believe that this initiative is inspired by students in Raichur to devote themselves to science,” he said.
Vallish Herur added that this prayer would like to provide children with government schools in Raichur through the Kriya program.
“Science, when they learn experienced, allows students to build skills outside textbooks. With the support of the SBI Foundation and the encouragement of local school authorities, we strive to create a clearer future for children in Raichur.
The organizers said that the Kriya program, which has already influenced more than 11,000 students at 77 schools, focuses on experiential learning in science. It is designed for students from classes 6 to 10 and is in accordance with national education policy (NEP) 2020 by emphasizing practical scientific survey and critical thinking.
