Former Turk Minister Thomas Isaac said that improved infrastructure and a stronger public transport system are necessary to increase women’s participation in income generation. ISAAC added that building the required infrastructure was the next step in the development of Kerala after its significant progress in the educational and medical sector. However, he said that central policies are financially suffocating the state and slowing growth. “We are facing a financial crisis caused by low incomes and growing expenditures. Meanwhile, the Center partially detained our annual share and blocked our opportunities to accept loans,” he said, claiming that these restrictions were intended to sabotage the state’s progress.
The following discussions were attended by former Minister and MLA Kadakampily Surendran and President of the City district of Mampat Sreedharan. President Ksrte and Mla TP Ramakrishnan alleviated this meeting.
The Convention will be formally ceremonially launched by the Secretary General of Elamaram Kareem in the Mam Jubilee Hall, Tali, Tuesday 23 September) at 10 am. The delegates will continue two days and on Wednesday 24 September) will end at 17:00.
