The State Health Department will prepare in cooperation with the relevant local self -governing bodies of prevention and control of infectious diseases. Such regional plans will be prepared for every level of local government.
The department will also review the statistics and profile of infectious diseases in previous years and maps hotspots so that preventive measures can focus in these areas.
Plans for prevention of disease -specific diseases will be carried out in these hotspots with the help of local authorities to locate preventive and control measures.
Health officials ordered the districts to carry out all preventive health measures in accordance with the Aogya Jagratha calendar. The reduction in the source will be accepted in a large way to keep the disease transmitted by the vector under control.

The meeting also pointed out that with increasing mercury levels, more attention is needed in heat -related disorders. Cases of Chikungunya were reported in all districts due to intermittent rains, dengue, leptospirosis. Water -transmitted diseases such as hepatitis and, as well as H1N1 and malaria, were also reported in the state.
The meeting also ordered that the districts were alert to the possibility that Nipah would hit again and organize all preventive measures.
Amoebic encephalitis
The health department also repeated their warning to people about entering unknown water bodies, because at the peak of the summer the possibility of amoebic encephalitis is broadcast on top of the summer. Water reservoirs, swimming pools and water formations in entertainment parks should be well cleaned.
People who develop conditions such as severe headache, fever, nausea, vomiting or problems with turning the neck after contact with water should immediately seek medical attention, because amoebic encephalitis has a mortality of 97%. It has been found that the disease is treatable if it is detected early. It has been directed that all cases of acute encephalitis syndrome are also tested on amoebic encephalitis.
The meeting RRT was attended by another main secretary (Health) and all higher health officials.
