
Harmanpreet Kaur and Kranti Gaud presented the show on Tuesday when India sealed the victory of the 2-1 series over England with a 13 victory in the final women’s ODI at Riverside Ground in Chester-Le-Street.
Harmanpreet has etched her name in record books and became the first visiting female batter to win three centuries of ODI on English soil and surpassed Meg Lanning (2). Meanwhile, Kranti became only the third Indian pitch that after Mamta Maben and Jhulan Goswami will take six goals in shifts in the overseas women’s ODI.

At first, Bat Bat decided, India published an impressive 318 for 5 Pratika Rawal (26) and Mandhana (45) provided a solid start with a 64-run partnership before Charlie Dean rejected Rawal. Mandhana followed in 18th place, but Harleen Deol and Harmanpreet stabilized shifts by a vital 81-run stall.
Initially cautious, Harmanpreet took 11 balls to get out of the brand, but raised the pace to reach his half -century in 54 vans. In doing so, only the third Indian woman became 4,000 ODI runs and joined Mithali Raj and Mandhana. Lauren Bell eventually interrupted the partnership and released Harleen to a folded 45.
Harmanpreet continued to score its seventh ODI century, reached a milestone in 82 passed and ended with 102 out of 84 supplies, including 14 borders. Rodrigues added Quickfire 50, while the explosive 38 of only 18 balls powered India.
Kranti Gaud wrecks England
India strongly began English persecution, while Kranti Gaud hit early to remove both opening – Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones – in a quick sequence. However, Emma Lamb and the captain of Nat Sciver-Brunt started a lively combat package for the host and sewed together a 162-run partnership for the third goal.
Just as it seemed that the duo was ready to tilt the match in favor of England, Shree Charani provided a breakthrough and released Lamb for a well -made 68 out of 81 balls.
The Sciver-Brunt continued to enshrine shifts and reached its half-century in 67 deliveries. It looked for a century, but fell agonized briefly. In 35. Through Deepti Sharma hit a major blow by removing the English captain at 98 out of 105 balls, knocking with 11 borders.
From there, Kranti took over the control and decimated the lower order with the magic of winning the match. It ended with exceptional figures of 9.5-1-52-6 and became an architect of the Indian victory. Despite his efforts from Sophie Dunkley (34), Alice Davidson-Richards (44) and Charlie Dean (21), England did not reach, bowed for 305 at 49.5 overs.
