The cricket control council in India (BCCI) confirmed the initiative through the video on their closings on the social media, where among those who saw the pink belt were Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Pratika Rawal and Sneh Rana.
“#Teamindia will be wearing special pink jerseys in the third ODI to support the awareness of breast cancer,” he read the headline at BCCI.
This is not the first time that the cricket gathered for the cause. The South Africa’s male team has long been promoting the tradition of a pink day in Johannesburg, While in IPL, franchises like Gujarat Titans And Delhi Capitals also sports special sets to support initiatives of cancer awareness.
