The Academy and Industry welcomed the launch of the SHUBHANSHU group mission at the International Space Station (ISS).
The Indian Scientific Institute (IISC) said I congratulated the Captain Shukl to become the first Indian astronaut to go to the ISS.
The Shukla Group captain was a student of Mtech in IISC and two out of seven experiments with a microgravity research that would propose an institute during his 14 -day stay in the ISS.
Two experiments are survival, recovery, reproduction and transcription of Eutardigrade Paramacrobiotus sp. BLR tribe in space and analysis of human interaction with electronic displays in microgravity from IISC.
Indian Space Association (ISPA) also appreciated Wednesday. “We are proud and we like to see the captain of the shukla group became the second Indian who traveled to space, this time as a Axiom-4 mission. Shukla’s captain is a graduate of NDA and was commissioned on June 17, 2006 in the IAF combat stream. He is the leader of the combat struggle and a test pilot with approximately 2,000 hours of flying experience. He flew a number of aircraft including Su-30 MKI, MiG-21, MiG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Dornier, An-32 etc.
