The long coastline and dense industrial belt demarcating the jurisdiction of the Cuddalore Corporation while shaping the economic character of the constituency have also left a trail of unsatisfied grievances on the land.
The coastline stretching from the fishing villages of Nallavadu to Singarathhoppu falls under the constituency which includes Cuddalore Old Town, Kanganakuppam and Kondur.
