
The Indonesian ATR 42-500 plane went missing near Makassar on Saturday but is now believed to have crashed after its wreckage was spotted on a mountain, according to several media reports.
ATR said its specialists are fully engaged in supporting the investigation led by the Indonesian authorities as well as the operator.
The Indonesian agency revealed that air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane while it was in the Maros region, which is in South Sulawesi province.
