“Flight 6E 813 operating from the international airport Goa (Dabolim) reported a technical hitch just before landing. The aircraft landed safely in Indore and undergo the necessary checks before renewing the operation,” Indigo spokesman said.
According to the report, nor the spokesman also said that airlines are spending all efforts to minimize the impact on the following flights and “regret any inconvenience that can cause customers”.
Delhi-goa indigo aircraft performs emergency landing
The indigo aircraft bound to Goa from Delhi on Wednesday was made by an emergency landing in Mumbai due to the failure of the middle air engine, the PTI report said and quoted the source.
The A320 Neo, operating the years 6E 6271, was diverted to the bomb and performed an emergency landing at 21:52 hours, said the source.
On Wednesday, the Indigo spokesman said on the flight from Delhi to the international airport Manohar in Goa, a technical snag was found.
According to the airline, the aircraft was diverted and landed at the International Airport of Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahara in Mumbai.
“The complete emergency situation was announced for the Indigo Flight 6e-6271, which operated on the Delhi-Go route after being diverted to the bomb because of one engine failure,” the source said.
