On Wednesday, Indigo announced the appointment of Vikram Singh Meht as Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Supreme Engineering Manager of KLM Ton Dortmans to support the Airbus A350S induction, which would join the fleet from 2027 from building airlines, repair and overwork (MRO).
Mr Mehta follows the Sumantran Vencataraman, who after the completion of his five -year term of office resigned as a member of the Board of Directors. Since May 2022, Mr. Mehta has been a member of the Board of Directors of Interglobe Aviation Limited (Indigo). He is the chairman of the Think Tank for Public Policy “Center for Social and Economic Progress” and former Executive Chairman of Brooking India and a higher colleague Brookings Institution. As chairman, he also contributed to a group of companies in India.
Ton Dortmans, the Executive Vice President of KLM Engineering & Maintenance, will join Indigo in mid -August after leaving this summer from the Dutch airline for 60 years. He served in KLM for 40 years and also supervised the induction of “Jumbo Jets” or Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
