
Cricket West Indies (CWI) confirmed a 15-member team for the upcoming series of two tests against India, scheduled from 2 to 14 October with matches in Ahmedabad and Delhi. The series will be part of the ongoing cycle of the ICC World Championship and since 2018 it is the first test tour of India West Indies.

“It will be our second series together as a test team, but we have already shown what we are able to be as a unit as soon as we committed to our brand and plans.”
Sammy added that the return of Chanderpaul and Athanasa would give the order of batting much needed support.
“The return of Tagenarine Chanderpaul is to help transform our wealth in the top of the order due to the recent struggle, and Alica Athanasis has been added for its strengths and spin bowling.
Squad, led by Roston Chase, leaves the Caribbean 22 September and is scheduled to arrive in Ahmedabad 24 September to start preparations.
