Meanwhile, their arch-rivals India successfully defended their T20 World Cup title by defeating New Zealand in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.Latif, who has played 37 Tests and 166 ODIs for Pakistan, said while Pakistan’s DNA is to lose, India have made a habit of winning big ICC tournaments.“Even after losing the toss, they made 250 runs. Nobody will be able to catch them. They didn’t do it overnight; it is the result of their hard work for the last 10 years or so. Look at the last ICC or Asia Cup,” Latif told reporters.“India’s DNA is to win trophies and our DNA is to lose before the knockouts. Their DNA is to play finals and win,” he added.Latif also took a swipe at the PCB over the alleged mismanagement of player contracts, calling it a “weak board”.“That’s what weaker boards do. When you sign the contract, it has everything. Fines and rewards are also mentioned,” said Latif.India won the T20 World Cup title after beating New Zealand by 96 runs in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. The win made India the first team to win three T20 World Cup titles and also the first to successfully defend the trophy on home soil.
