When Israel continued to bomb goals in Iran, thousands of Indians stuck in various Iranian cities demand that both parties in the fight to declare that the Indian government can evacuate them through airports in Iran. India Embassy in Tehran on Sunday released a new list of emergency numbers and established a telegram group that helped the Indians scattered across Iran to connect with the Indian authorities and call on everyone to register with travel documents to ensure their safety.
This problem started on Sunday Omar Abdullah, the main Minister Jammu and Kashmir, who spoke to the Minister of Outside S. Jaishankar and urged him to ensure the well -being of Indian students in Iran.
Hind learned from the sources in the Holy town of Qom (Iran) that several groups of sewn pilgrims from India, especially Lucknow, who traveled to Najaf and Karbaly in Iraq and reached QOM, has been stuck for the last few days since Israel began bombing. The Indian pilgrim on QOM said that all Iranian airports suspended operations against the background of the conflict and are forced to extend their stay in hotels because uncertainty prevails.
Israel-iran’s conflict lives
“The Indian government should ask Israel and Iran to pause for several days to be evacuated from QOM,” said Indian pilgrim on anonymity and noted that the Indian embassy is in contact with most Indians clusters across Iran, but a lack of flights to India.
After talking to Mr. Jaishankar, Mr. Abdullah said, “The honorary minister assured me that the Ministry of Outside was in close contact with their counterparts in Iran and took all the necessary steps to protect all Indian students in Iran.” ”
The evacuation for predominant circumstances is demanding because Iran has closed his air space due to the exchange of missiles and drones. Israel focused on Mehrabad International Airport near Tehran, which Iran and Israel use both for civil aviation and for military purposes, in anticipation of Iranian attacks, closed Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Indian sources said the Iranian authorities have opened the Tehran Metro railway network, which should be used as safety shelters in the event of further amplification of the fight.
Official sources also stated that out of approximately 10,000 Indians in Iran, 6,000 students of different seminars in QOM and other Shiite Centers are learning. “There are about 2000 Indian nationals of fishing and sailors in the southern ports of Iran and the rest are students of various medical faculties and Indian business families that have lived there for decades,” said the official source, indicating that the air is not possible because the airspace has been closed.

Indian travelers in Iran faced a comparable situation during the first wave of Covid-19, when Iran closed their airports across the country to deal with the increase in infection and the Indians were stuck in hotels for many days.
Indian tourists who are trapped in QOM face other problems because the hotels have enriched the room fees as the conflict continues. The Indian pilgrim in QOM said that Indians are part of a large pilgrimage community stuck in the city and that there are also citizens of several other countries. Iran tightened security in all public places with regard to the clash with Israel and movement on the streets, due to stricter police activities, became difficult.
