Do you think SHUBMAN GILL will break the record Sunil Gavascar with 774 runs in the test series?
India had a strong first session of the 3rd day. Nightwatchman Akash Deep, who continued 4, surprised everyone with a fearless counterattack. He struck his first test fifty and shared 107 partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Akash Deep scored 66 out of 94 balls before Jamie Overton fell. Jaiswal remained on 85 Nebita when India reached 189 at 3 at lunch. Before Gill fell after the cabin, the Indian lead went around 150 years. Captain Gill may have fallen cheaply in his last shifts of the series, but the numbers he leaves will remember for a long time.
